To celebrate the launch of its new XR li-ion 5Ah battery, the power tool brand hosted a series of events at stockists across the UK and Ireland, offering customers the first opportunity to try tools from its new range, ahead of the official launch.

Those who bought 5Ah products on the day were entered into a draw to win the top prize of the van - worth over £15,000 - and the winner has now been announced as Jason Weldon.

DeWalt's new battery delivers 66% more run time than a standard 3Ah battery pack without compromising the size or weight of the tool. The battery is also available with tools as part of the brand's XR Brushless 5Ah range.
