Paul Crossley, managing director of shower tray manufacturer JT, has been presented with a Special Achievement award at the KBB Awards to honour his services to the bathroom industry.
The accolade for the Yorkshire entrepreneur marks over 20 years' service to the bathroom business, in which he has led the Leeds-based company to become one of the industry's most recognised brands for quality and innovation.
Mr Crossley joined JT as sales and marketing director in 2000 and, overseeing two management buyouts since then, has been at the forefront of growing the business. He has taken JT from the launch of the first mass-produced low-profile tray to exporting products all over the globe and winning numerous awards, including a position in the Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 in 2008.
Speaking about his latest award, Mr Crossley said: "I'm extremely proud of what we have achieved, and this award is recognition of a great team. We pride ourselves on investing in product quality, innovation and, above all, the JT brand, which I believe has been the key to business success."
This year the company is investing over £1m in its factory.
