Kate Bradbury to appear at Hozelock stand at Glee
Published: 3 September 2018
Award-winning author, journalist and wildlife gardener Kate Bradbury will be appearing on the Hozelock stand at this year's Glee.
Ms Bradbury will be presenting an expert view on gardening and bees, which are two elements key to Hozelock's plans for 2019, on Tuesday, September 11. Ms Bradbury's books include 'The Wildlife Gardener', now in its second edition, and most recently 'The Bumblebee Flies Anyway,' which describes how she transformed an unloved, urban garden in Brighton into a wildlife haven.
Twenty signed copies of the latter book will be available on a first come, first served basis for buyers visiting the Hozelock stand.
In 2015, Kate Bradbury became the first Butterfly Ambassador for charity Butterfly Conservation and she regularly talks at events and festivals as well as on the radio. As a lover of bees, she is knowledgeable about their plight and supports the principles of Hozelock’s ‘Plant A Pot’ campaign which encourages gardeners to plant and care for bee friendly plants. By planting a container of bee-friendly plants and seeds and keeping it watered throughout the foraging season, gardeners can have a huge impact on the availability of bee food throughout the year.
