Antony Harker shortlisted for award following the ‘amazing progress’ of his company in the last six years.
Mr Harker has become one of the top five North East England Bank of Scotland £35m Entrepreneur Challenge finalists in association with The Sunday Times.

The company has been recognised for its achievement in becoming the largest supplier of garden centre landscape products since it entered the market in 2002.

Kelkay attributes its success to Mr Harker's background in garden centre retailing where, it said "he learnt to keep things simple, providing products at good value for money".

The regional winner in the North East was Kevin Raine, managing director of 'multi utility' company Fusion Group, who was awarded funding of up to £5m from Bank of Scotland Corporate.
