Kidde Safety renews contract with XPO Logistics

Fire safety products manufacturer Kidde Safety has renewed its national warehousing and distribution contract with XPO Logistics for a further two years.
XPO Logistics manages the logistics for all of Kidde's UK product lines and provides a range of pre-retail services, along with the storage and distribution of point of sale materials. The company is also responsible for handling the distribution of products to Kidde's UK customer base of major retailers including Asda, Argos, Costco and Homebase, as well as builders merchants and construction sites.

Kidde Safety is part of the Fire & Security division of United Technologies Corporation (UTC). In the UK, Kidde Safety Europe offers a full range of home safety products that include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers and fire blankets, all certified to current European standards.

Kidde Safety Europe Ltd general manager Andy Burnett said: "We are delighted with the service provided by XPO Logistics. They are keen to help us find innovative ways to ensure continuous improvements in the delivery of our products to our customers, which is a significant factor in our growth in the UK."
