B&Q and Screwfix owner Kingfisher has donated £25,000 to UNICEF UK to support the aid effort for children following the recent earthquake in Nepal.

Thousands of people have died and been injured in the tragedy.

The UNICEF charity is on the ground in Nepal, working to meet the needs of the country's children. It also works to help communities to prepare and adapt to future risks, which, says Kingfisher, is "just one of the reasons Kingfisher were so happy to support UNICEF UK's appeal".
