Shoppers in Ceredigion, Wales, have been told they must fly to the USA to find their nearest B&Q store due to a Welsh language translation gaffe, according to the BBC.
A sign in Welsh at the now-closed Parc-y-Llyn retail park store near Aberystwyth told shoppers the store had moved. But instead of saying "You can find us..." it says "you can find United States."
The sign has since been removed, and B&Q has apologised for any confusion caused by the mistranslation. "We're sorry for any confusion caused by the mistake in our sign," said a spokesperson for the retailer. "You won't be able to find the United States at B&Q in Carmarthen, but you can find everything you need for your home and garden this summer."
