Last chance to sponsor charity skydive

Published: 22 September 2011
DIY Week's Rachael Lyon and former editor Will Parsons are joining 16 other volunteers taking part in the inaugural Rainy Day Trust tandem parachute jump this weekend.
They will each be doing a tandem jump at the British Army Parachute Association training centre at Netheravon, Wiltshire, on Sunday, September 25, right in the middle of the MOD's training facilities on Salisbury Plain. The jump, from a height of 13,500 ft, includes a 45-second, 120mph freefall before the parachute is deployed.
The purpose of the jump is to raise much-needed funds for the industry charity the Rainy Day Trust, and each member of the team has undertaken to raise £1,000 - but they need your help to get there!
If you would like to support any of the team please email us at parachute@fav-house.com and tell us who you wish to sponsor, and for how much. Alternatively, if you want to avoid any favouritism, just make a pledge using the same email address, quoting 'team sponsorship', to showing your support for the whole team and for the home improvement industry's only dedicated charity.

Or alternatively sponsor Will and Rachael at www.justgiving.com/RDTParachute
