Leyland Paints has ramped up its sponsorship of stars from the world of darts by teaming up with newly-crowned world champion Michael van Gerwen.

The company's two-year partnership with world-class players Simon Whitlock and Mark Webster will also continue this year.

Dutchman Mr van Gerwen is currently the hottest property in darts, securing his career highlight on New Year's Day with the defeat of Peter Wright in the final to claim his first world championship success.

As well as wearing Leyland Paints branding on their shirts in all tournaments this year, the trio of ambassadors will be making appearances throughout the year.
