Greenfingers, the charity which creates gardens for children's hospices, has been given £5,000 to go towards the new Greenfingers Essex Garden.

The association has also presented a cheque for £5,000 to the Meningitis Now charity, while the Madley Environmental Study Centre (MESC) has been given £2,000. MESC is a charity providing environmental education activities for people of all ages and abilities on its nature reserve in Herefordshire.
