Ludlow Homecare named BHF Shop of the Year

Shropshire retailer wins British Hardware Federation title
The judges chose Ludlow Homecare of Shropshire as BHF Shop of the Year, citing its extensive website, garden centre, and wide range of DIY and garden products across a broad spectrum.
The store also has a home care department for bathrooms and kitchens, an excellent reputation with both suppliers and customers, and a high footfall. "They are always helpful and very professional, with a well-lit and welcoming store," said the judges.
Jegs Electrical was named BHF Supplier of the Year. The judges reported: "They are renowned for their range, quality, service and competitive prices allowing our members to successfully compete with the multiples."
In the product categories, CK's Legend bypass pruner was chosen as best garden product, and the Premier tool range from LG Harris won the award for the best tool product. Stixall by Everbuild was named best DIY product.
Pritesh Pancholi of Melton Ironmongers in Leicester was chosen as the best retail staff member, with Melanie Preece of Handyman House in Monmouth as runner-up.
