Major power tools theft at B&Q Dundee
Published: 12 December 2013
Thousands of pounds' worth of power tools have been stolen from B&Q in King's Road, Dundee.
Thieves broke into the store in an overnight raid and got away with over 100 products, including electric drills, cordless and corded hammer drills, angle grinders, cutters and jigsaws. The value of the tools, from DeWalt and Bosch, is estimated at over £11,000.
Because of the large amount of tools taken, police believe the theft was carried out by a number of people using a vehicle.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers are currently reviewing public and private CCTV locally and in the wider area and would appeal to anyone who has information that could assist police enquiries to call 101 or speak to any officer."
