Paintbrush and roller maker Mako UK has moved to new premises in Burnley, with a spacious showroom, improved order processing and advanced IT support.
Mako has also invested in packaging upgrades and the re-launch of the Marshall brands, including the Supapile and Goldfleck rollers and the 101 and 400x brush ranges. The new Burnley unit houses modern assembly facilities enabling in-house production of promotional products. On a year-to-date basis, Mako UK reports sales up 34% year-on-year.
Mako first entered the British market through a distributor in 2005, and Mako UK and Ireland Ltd, manufacturing in Manchester, was established in 2008 with the acquisition of brands and trading experience of J A Marshall & Co. The parent company, Mako GmbH, is one of Europe's leading manufacturers and distributors of decorating sundries with turnover of €70m.
