Man charged over Homebase break-in
The incident occurred at around 9 o'clock on Sunday evening at the Homebase store on Reigate Road. The man forced his way in through the two automatic sliding doors at the front of the store, which were locked at the time, causing around £250 worth of damage.

12 Karcher pressure washers were stolen, but have since been recovered. A man was later arrested on suspicion of the burglary. Another person is believed to have also been involved.

Justin Mitchell, 44, of Avondale Road in Croydon, was charged with the burglary earlier this week. He is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 9.
