Henkel Consumer Adhesives has announced the change to its WE North (UK, Ireland & Nordic) management team, which sees Mr Portman take up the role next month.
Mr Portman, currently commercial director for Henkel Consumer Adhesives UK, will replace Simon Duggan Hill in the role from April 1.

Mr Duggan Hill, who has held the role of managing director since April 2009, will take-up a new leadership position with Henkel in Asia Pacific.

Before joining Henkel, he had a 10-year career with cigar manufacturer Swedish Match.
