M&S' brand-new home and food store in Cardiff opened for business yesterday (19 March).
Customers joined in the celebrations at the Capital Park site, with a complimentary glass of champagne and in-store entertainment.
The store offers the full M&S Home range, meaning it is the largest M&S homeware offer in the Wales, along with a modern food hall and an 80-seater M&S Café.
The store will employ more than 120 people and features energy efficient escalators and lighting with movement sensors will help save energy.
The store also has eco rubber flooring and cycle racks have been installed in the staff changing rooms to encourage employees to cycle to the store.
Store manager, Anna Morgan, who opened the outlet said: "We were thrilled to unveil this store and bring a unique shopping experience to Cardiff.
"It is fantastic to be located in such a new and exciting retail space and we have received some great feedback from our first customers who are delighted with the range and quality of products we have to offer."
