Security supplier creates a virtual bridge where people can declare and 'lock up' their love with a Master Lock padlock online.
The Valentine's Day campaign follows the idea of couples locking padlocks to famous bridges across the World as a symbol of their love. Master Lock's website
www.lovemasterlock.com invites visitors to seal their love on the web without harming the architectural heritage.
Users simply select the Master Lock padlock they wish to use, choose from a bridge in Paris, London, Venice and San Francisco, before finally dedicating it to their love with a personal message.
Master Lock marketing manager Jonathan Skermer said: "We really wanted to do something to celebrate Valentine's Day this year and it's very traditional in Europe to 'Lock up' your love on bridges with a padlock. So we thought a virtual 'lovers bridge' would be a greener way of celebrating your love in 2012."
