Glee organiser i2i has announced the appointment of new event manager Matthew Mein ahead of its September 2013 show.
Mr Mein has worked on Glee for more than seven years and has been involved in every sector of the show. He also has an in-depth understanding of the garden industry as well as lengthy experience in events. His new role will include leading the show's sales team as well as enhancing its added value features and educational content.
He said: "Glee has been such a huge part of my career and I am extremely passionate about delivering a show that helps gardening companies and their customers to build business and develop profitable futures. I am excited to be in a position where I can lead Glee into its next exciting chapter."
As Glee event manager Matthew will be supported by Daniel Thurlow. Previously Glee show director (from 2008 - 2010), Mr Thurlow will take a strategic overview of Glee's development, in his new role as portfolio director. Mr Thurlow will focus on the tactical development of the show, guiding Matthew and working with Glee's supporting partners.
