Managing Director of Holden Décor Wallpaper, Neil Duerden has joined BHETA’s DIY and Garden committee.  Neil has over 25 years’ experience within the UK, European & US DIY industry, specifically in decorative paint, wallpaper, tiles and adhesives.

Neil is already a familiar face at BHETA, having been a regular contributor to BHETA Credit Forums in previous roles.  Prior to joining Holden earlier this year, Neil spent seven years as Sales Director of Gorilla Glue, helping to build what was then an unknown US brand into a market-leader in the adhesives and tapes categories.

Neil’s career began at Akzo Nobel in product and account marketing roles working on brands such as Crown, Sandtex, Albany and Sadolin, before he moved into a full commercial sales role looking after the company’s largest UK customers including B & Q, Homebase, Focus, Wilko, Aldi and B&M. He then transitioned across the decorative sector to British Ceramic Tile, where he looked after retail accounts including Topps Tiles, Wilko, Amazon and Homebase.

Holden Décor Wallpaper, which has recently become a BHETA member is a specialist in premium quality wallcoverings. Its Darwen-based UK studio designs innovative wallcoverings following the latest home furnishing trends in colour, pattern and texture.  The company is part of the Grandeco European Wallpaper Group.
