Hedley Triggs takes up role of manager of horticulture at Bridgemere Nursery & Garden World.
In his new role, Mr Triggs will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the garden centre, which is located near Nantwich and is part of The Garden Centre Group, and will be in charge of all horticultural aspects within the store.

He said: "I am delighted to have been appointed as Bridgemere Nursery & Garden World's Manager of Horticulture.

"The garden centre has been established for more than 45 years and I am very excited about joining the team. It is my responsibility to look after the horticultural side of the business.

"I will be involved in everything from plant production to quality control, while also ensuring our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience at the garden centre. I look forward to taking on this challenging role."

Mr Triggs, who has worked in the horticultural industry for 23 years, added: "I have been employed in a variety of different roles at other garden centres across the country, including being the plant buyer and stock manager for Otter Nurseries in Devon... During this time I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help me fulfil my new role."
