New blogging platform launched to boost gardening
Published: 26 January 2016
A host of high-profile personalities is getting behind a new initiative to promote gardening.
GardenTags says that an increasingly urban and ageing population, one that is not necessarily interested in gardening, poses a significant risk to its future. The company has therefore launched a new blogging platform
www.gardentags.com/revolution and will be running a live streamed debate to enable the gardening industry to collectively solve the problem.
The aim is to engage future generations of gardeners through disruptive technology, community activism and a wholesale rebranding of 'gardening'.
GardenTags has already gathered together a host of top industry influencers to take part. These include the Skinny Jean Gardeners Lee and Dale Connelly, gardening editor of The Guardian Jane Perrone, Christine Walkden of BBC's The One Show, Sean James Cameron of The Horticulture Channel, RHS Chelsea Flower Show medal winner Adam Frost, Sara Venn of The Physic Garden, and Michael Perry, guest presenter on QVC.
A debate will be live streamed from the Barbican Conservatory at The Garden Press Event dinner on February 17, starting at 6.30pm and can be viewed at
