NWF Group has announced the appointment of Richard Whiting to the board as chief executive designate as of October 1, 2007.
Current chief executive Graham Scott will continue in his capacity until October 31, 2007 and then hand over to Richard Whiting.

Mr Whiting joins NWF from fully listed Heywood Williams Group where he has been group finance director since November 2004.

Heywood Williams designs, markets and distributes branded building products.

Prior to his work at Heywood Williams, he was at Novar plc (formerly Caradon plc), working in the building products sector.

From 2000-2002 he was md of the datacom division of Brand-Rex Ltd., one of Europe's leading data communication cabling systems providers.
