Two-way fast 22 kilowatt charging points have been installed at each of these garden centres. Customers can park, charge, then shop or enjoy a drink or meal at Squire’s while they wait.

There are also two existing 3 kilowatt charging spaces at Squire’s in Woking which are free to use.

Sarah Squire, Chairman of Squire’s, commented: “Our new electric vehicle charging points have been warmly welcomed by customers. We are committed to supporting people to lead more sustainable lives, and one way we can do this is by encouraging the use of more environmentally friendly modes of transport. Look out for more charging points being installed at our other garden centres over the coming year.”
