New HQ for BMF

March 1st will see the Builders Merchants Federation re-locate to its new home in Coventry.
The 7,000 sq ft offices which are to be the new head office for the association have been given a major facelift to provide accommodation for meetings, seminars and training as well as office space for the team. The BMF has also made the offices as energy efficient as possible, installing solar-powered PV panels on the roof, an A-rated boiler for heating and LED lighting throughout.
BMF managing director John Newcomb said: "Moving into new premises presented us with a fantastic opportunity to make the building and our working environment as green and energy efficient as possible.
"The space is designed to provide a hub for all our activities and we have created an environment that will be pleasant to work in and economical to run."
A formal opening for invited guests will take place on April 30, with 'a major figurehead from the merchant industry' as well as 'a famous personality from the Midlands sporting world' tipped to make an appearance.
