Marc Haigh has been appointed as the manager of Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World.
He will be responsible for managing the garden centre, which is located near Nantwich and part of The Garden Centre Group.

Mr Haigh said: "I am very pleased to be joining the team at Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World. The position requires me to oversee the running of all indoor departments within the garden centre, as well as taking charge of administration and operations. I am delighted to be taking on this role and look forward to the challenges it presents."

He added: "I have been working for The Garden Centre Group for more than three years now. I have previous experience of working in a managerial role and look forward to implementing my previous knowledge at the garden centre. I have a keen interest in gardening and really like how my job allows me to indulge my passion."

Alyson Haywood, regional manager for the Group said: "I would like to welcome Marc to Brigemere Nursery and Garden World as the new manager. I look forward to working closely with him in the future on lots of exciting events we have planned for the garden centre in 2010."
