Norfolk-based paint applicator manufacturer Hamilton Acorn, has announced the appointment of Darrin Heathershaw as national sales manager.
Commenting on Mr Heathershaw's appointment, managing director of Hamilton Acorn John Grayson, said "This is an excellent appointment for the company. Darrin has a fantastic pedigree within both the diy market and experience of our decorative coatings professional dealers.

"I am confident this further addition to the team will help ensure the aggressive growth targets now set within our strategy can be realised as we head forward."

Since 2002 Mr Heathershaw has controlled the UK sales activities of Haemmerlin/Chillington, a Midlands-based manufacturer of site and construction equipment to the building and diy markets.

Prior to Haemmerlin/Chillington, he spent several years as national accounts manager with Cuprinol woodcare assisting with the launch of the popular 'Garden Shades' woodcare range.

His earlier career also included a period with the high street decorative retailer Fads.
