Bord na Móna UK (BNM UK) has recruited Jason Pike as its national sales manager covering the retail market throughout the UK.
Heading up a team of six regional sales managers, he will spearhead BNM UK's peat-free and peat-reduced offer across existing accounts and an increasing number of new listings. He will be based at BNM UK's head office in Bridgwater.

Prior to his new role Mr Pike was commercial horticultural manager for fabric, netting and fencing solutions specialist Tildenet.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: "Bord na Móna UK is ambitious to develop its brands in the UK and with its combination of Growise and Vital Earth, it has a very compelling offer."
