Toolbank is the latest company to sign up for the Rainy Day Trust's Partnership scheme.
Commenting on the decision to become an RDT Partner, Toolbank group sales director Simon Bicknell said: "When we heard about the Partnership scheme, it just seemed the right thing to do for us to sign up. We've actively supported RDT for many years with our home visits, fundraising and donations and really do encourage other companies within the industry to do likewise."
Toolbank's participation in the scheme follows hot on the heels of the Trust's first housewares partner, Ultimate Products, who signed up last month.
The package, launched earlier this year, enables companies to demonstrate an enhanced level of support for the charity, which helps people who have spent a significant part of their working lives in the hardware and housewares industry.
In return for an annual subscription of £1,000, Partners qualify for a package of publicity and branding benefits, which highlight their support for the Trust.
