Home enhancement retailer Homebase, has introduced 28 statement furniture ranges, 83 accessories and 24 cushions to its Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.
According to the retailer space-saving furniture and open plan living is on trend this Autumn/Winter and its new furniture ranges reflect this.
Some of the new furniture ranges include Merrick, a modern oak collection with storage compartments, and Ryebourne, a bedroom range with a clean, simple and practical look.
Furniture buyer, Amy Dietrich, said: "Space in people's homes is becoming increasingly smaller, and we are seeing a growing demand for furniture that can do two jobs - hold more items to save room, while also bringing character to a living space.
"Open plan living - either with lounge diners or kitchen diners - is still a popular space saving solution, so we've introduced whole furniture collections this year to help people complete the look in their new look living space."
Accessories such as trinket boxes, statues, ornaments, signs and photo frames have been added to the Autumn/Winter collection.
Speaking about the new range buyer for home accessories and textiles, Lindsay O'Neill, said: "We've seen a huge increase in people looking for items which show their softer side.
"Home enhancements are a great way to inject personality into a living space, and this year we have a treasure trove of interesting pieces to create talking points in the home."
Mix and match cushions are big this season, with customers opting to mix textures and shades rather than having a matching set.
All items will be in store and online from July.
