New show director for Totally DIY
Published: 13 December 2012
Paul Grinsell, who has been the Totally DIY and Totally Tools director of sales since 1997, will be taking on the role of show director as the shows move to their new home at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
Brintex managing director Malcolm Taylor said: "No one who knows Paul, and most people in the DIY and tools industry do, will doubt his dedication and commitment to the shows or his encyclopaedic knowledge of the industry. We're delighted that he has agreed to take on the role of running the shows."
Paul Grinsell added: "I'm driven to realise the shows' full potential and to work with the suppliers and visitors to deliver the shows they want and need, and particularly so in their 20th anniversary year in 2014."
He inherits the role from James Murray, who was exhibition director on Totally from 2006 to 2011. Mr Murray will remain working for Brintex, the organisation behind the Totally shows, as an exhibition director; his current responsibilities include The London International Wine Fair.
The 2013 Totally DIY and Totally Tools shows will run at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, from February 10 - 12.
