Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

New Year boost for BHETA's DIY membership

Published: 17 January 2013
Two more companies, both from the decorating sector, have joined the British Home Enhancement Association since the beginning of 2013.
One is Ciret, part of the Storch-Ciret Group of companies and a leading supplier to the professional and DIY painting and decorating industry. It provides nearly 5,000 products to around 1,500 retailers.

The second is Ladderlimb, the ladder accessory company whose eponymous product won gold for Hand Tool of the Year in the 2012 DIY Week Awards. It fits into the hollowed rungs of most ladders and securely holds the handles of decorating equipment like buckets, tool bags and paint tins.

Said BHETA DIY sector director Peter Stone: "DIY in general is growing strongly at BHETA and it's great to see painting and decorating further represented. Our most recent Meet the Buyers with Screwfix has certainly been a big attraction for members and prospective members and with more events like that planned for 2013, we hope to see even more interest."
