Next has revealed plans to open more home and garden stores after the format's successful debut in Shoreham, and is already scoping out possible locations.
The fashion chain opened the doors of its home and garden superstore on August 10, and has already seen a very positive reaction from customers.
Store manager Helen Clarke told
DIY Week: "We have been busy every day since the day we opened. Trading has not dipped."
The store sees Next offering DIY and garden ranges for the first time, including tiling, flooring, sheds, aggregates and compost which are available exclusively from the Shoreham store. The company says it eventually intends to make these categories available online.
Potential locations for other Next home and garden stores have yet to be revealed.
