Fashion chain Next opens its new superstore in Shoreham next week, offering DIY and garden products for the first time.
The 56,000sq ft store opens its doors to the public on August 10, and sees the retail giant offering products such as screws, bolts and bathroom tiles alongside its established home and clothing ranges.
Next has expanded the home department to introduce new and existing products, including a large range of carpets, tiles and flooring.
Big-name brands like Dulux will also be available, and customers can also take advantage of a home design consultant based in store.
A garden centre area will offer sheds, garden furniture and horticultural products.
Speaking at Next's results presentation back in January, chief executive Simon Wolfson said: "We're not competing with the big DIY sheds, but we will be selling things like fencing, paving, aggregates, plant pots, woodcare, flooring... It's an experiment."
He added: "I would like to stress that this is a trial along with many others we are doing."
This is the next step in the company's venture into home improvement after it launched its Home format in 2003.
