Lakeland has become the first homeware retailer to stock O'Keeffe's Working Hands hand cream in its 68 UK stores and online.
O'Keeffe's Working Hands is manufactured in the US, but the company has a European head office based in Lancashire.
Already sold in DIY stores, builders merchants, garden centres and independent chemists, O'Keeffe's Working Hands is hoping the deal with Lakeland will help it emulate its US success.
European sales director, Simon Damp, said: "The O'Keeffe's story began over 20 years ago in California when it was developed by pharmacist Tara O'Keeffe over her kitchen sink to help her rancher father's dry and cracked hands.
"Now owned by the Ragland family from Cincinnati, the O'Keeffe's brand continues to grow as a family business and it is great news that we will be providing Lakeland, another well known family business, with O'Keeffe's Working Hands, so that we can continue to help other people across the UK who also suffer with painful, dry and cracked hands."
