A visit to the Toolbank Trade Zoo
Let's get Abus to the attractions. We can start in the children's area - look there's a Duracell Bunny and over there are the Duck tapes and a Black & Decker Mouse sander.
Through the reptile house and past the Boa constrictor, Drain Snakes and Python handles, even some Snail wrenches and some frogs for planes, as well as Knipex Cobras and Alligators, Black & Decker Snakelights and their Alligators too.
In the Aquarium are the Barracuda's and Piranha bits. Look there's Crocodile clamps. Even some Carpenters Bass.
Out in the small enclosures are the Mole and Monkey wrenches, Gorilla Glue and Gorilla Bars and, at the back, are some Mongoose slipjoint pliers.
In the paddock there are Horse rasps, Giraffe sanders and Trigger clamps. Look there's the sign to the Bulldogs, Olympia Mutts and some Hog rings.
We did have Zebra but they are gone now, but let's go and see the Lion and Leopard padlocks.
In the bird house there are Hawks, Crow bars.
Walking through here makes your Heartbeat doesn't it. What do you think left all those Footprints?
Still, if there is anything we don't need (mice, rats, insects) at least we have Rentokil on our side!
In response to a blog by Will Parsons issue entitled ‘Oranges are the only fruit’, Toolbank group sales director Simon Bicknell, with the help of Alan Bay and Ian Saward, has taken the DIY menagerie idea a little bit further...
