A 'barbecue with a bar' proved a hot topic on this year's Outback Solex stand, where the latest addition to the new top-of-the-range Signature series persuaded buyers to sign-up to the concept for the 2017 barbecue season.
"The idea of adding a custom-built bar to a Signature 4 or 6 gas barbecue really caught on with Solex buyers keen to place orders for next year, and we were also kept busy demonstrating the new Ranger and Magnum 3-burner gas models.
Sales of Signature exceeded sales targets in the first three months of this year's UK launch, as it provides the ultimate in grills, griddle, roasting and rotisserie cooking, and is delivered pre-assembled on its own pallet.
Consumers are increasingly keen on a stay-at-home holiday, as well as looking for value for money, and an Outback barbecue fits the bill", said Outback chief executive Mark Osborne.
Meanwhile, the new Magnum 3-burner comes with an added side burner, cast iron grills and porcelain-enamelled roasting hood with recessed heat gauge, while the new Ranger 3-burner retains a traditional country green with wooden frame design - also complete with side burner, cast iron grills, recessed heat indicator and lava rock.
