Parasene announces multi-million pound expansion

Published: 19 August 2015
Family-run manufacturer of garden and hardware products, Parasene, is set to invest £2.2m in expanding its operations in the West Mildlands.
The manufacturer, a division of H&E Knowles (Lye) Ltd, announced the completion of £2.2 million funding for the planned expansion today. The funding will allow the purchase of new plant and equipment to expand its production facility in the West Midlands and a 56,000sq ft extension to the site.

The new equipment will allow increased production capacity for its garden incinerator range, fully modernise the wheelbarrow production facility with automated robotic tube bending machines and automated wheelbarrow body production and to enhance the gas filling plant again using state-of-the-art automation.

Parasene managing director Dan Knowles said: "After a strong first quarter this year, we are really happy with the completion of this project and are confident of good times ahead for our industry. We are proud of our heritage as a British manufacturer and we are in the process of increasing production in our factories in the Midlands."
