Pest-Stop brings an end to fruit flies
Published: 8 September 2015
Pest-Stop has launched the Fruit Fly Trap to tackle an all-year-round problem.
Fruit flies are attracted to rotting fruit and vegetables, and can detect this from miles away; they also like moist areas like drains and empty bottles.
The Pest-Stop Fruit Fly Trap is a discreet, lemon-shaped plastic trap containing a food-based, non-pesticide attractant designed to lure fruit flies away from the food and into the trap.
The middle of the trap is to be pierced and can be placed in fruit bowls or hung near food sources. Once activated, the product will last for approximately four weeks.
The Fruit Fly Trap can capture up to 200 flies, and when full can be incinerated or disposed of in the domestic waste.
