Pitchwell appoints new head of retail division

Pitchwell, the international supplier and distributor of gadgets and gizmos for the kitchen and household and owner of Pitch TV and Pitch World on SKY (channel 636 and 647) has appointed Andrew Herbert as managing director of Pitch Retail.
Mr Herbert was previously managing director at Seen it on TV, where his primary remit was to expand the existing music and DVD business, as well as the brown and white goods side of operations.
He successfully secured large contracts with several key, national retailers including Makro, Debenhams, Woolworths and Dunnes in Ireland.
Prior to Seen it on TV, Mr Herbert was trading director at JML for four years.
At Pitchwell he will be working alongside group chief executive, Hasfa Abubacker and his focus will be to spearhead product development and drive the implementation of the business's sales strategy across the UK and Ireland.
