Matthew won the competition last weekend, which was held at the Telford International Centre and drew archers from England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The competitors had to shoot 60 arrows at a distance of 18m, at a target face which was just 60cm wide.

Matthew is also a member of a team of Young Games Makers helping at next year's Olympic Games. He will spend eight days in London assisting with the Archery Event held at Lords Cricket Ground.
