Poundbury Gardens seeks charity partner

Published: 2 February 2016
Poundbury Gardens, which is part of The Gardens Group, is searching for a local charity or not-for-profit organisation to donate 10% of its takings to during its 10th anniversary celebrations, which take place between Tuesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 10.
The garden centre based near Queen Mother Square in Poundbury, is calling on customers, charities and organisations alike to nominate the charity or not-for-profit organisation that they believe deserves to receive 10% of the garden centre and restaurant takings on Friday 4 March 2016.

Lucy Simpson, manager of Poundbury Gardens, explained: "With so many wonderful causes in the local area, we wanted as many as possible to have a moment in the spotlight as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. I know that it will be a really difficult decision to choose just one to receive the donation, but we'll be sure to give all of the organisations that are entered a mention on our blog and social media. We're urging anyone that knows of a really worthy cause that deserves a boost, to get in touch."

Nominations can be sent to Lucy Simpson at lucy@thegardensgroup.co.uk and the chosen charity will be announced on Friday, March 4, 2016.
