Stax Trade Centres go mobile with new website

Leading wholesaler and trade supplier Stax Trade Centres has just launched their brand new responsive website, designed to optimise visually across all devices including tablets, smartphones and desktop computers.

The new site, which instantly recognises the device that is viewing it, renders the website perfectly to the screen size, making mobile usage much easier than ever before.

New features include Best Sellers, Most Purchased, New Products and the recently launched Shopping & Picking List tool, whereby customers can produce a shopping list, print out a list designed to be picked in the most logical and efficient order.

Online Stax retailer Discount Warehouse said,
"This is a huge time saver for our business. The range Stax carries is massive, so sometimes that means finding what you want can take longer than desired. With the new Shopping List tool you find the bay location of every product and it even allows a full shopping list to be printed with the quickest route planned out for you! So with the 3 or 4 visits we pay to Stax every week we estimate it will save us around 10 hours per month!"

The Best Sellers, Most Purchased and New Product features are also a fantastic new addition, as Stax Joint MD, David Hibbert, commented,
"For many of our retailers, selling the most in demand stock is of upmost importance, so being able to view the top 50 best selling lines in every category will be a very helpful tool in them making key business decisions as what best to stock.

Hibbert continued,
"The website is really designed to help our customers become as profitable and efficient as they can be. So, from finding your most purchased lines in an instant to being able to identify New Products as they are launched will help retailers identify new opportunities to maximize their sales revenue on a regular basis."

The Stax website attracts in excess of 1,500,000 visits annually and will generate over £12m in sales for Stax by year-end. Mobile visits are up 47% year on year with total mobile traffic accounting for almost 40% of all visits.
Designed and built by Stax's digital marketing team, the new site follows a number of key investments at Stax over the past 12 months, including a new upscaled server environment, large scale investment in operations and the launch of the new 80,000 square foot Glasgow branch, which opened Sunday 30th August.

The development of the Stax website will continue well into 2016 with additional features including predictive search, product relationship grouping and investment in Google PPC advertising and SEO to drive more traffic and recruit new customers.

The Stax website can be found at www.staxtradecentres.co.uk although to explore full functionality visitors must be registered as a customer at one of the six Stax branches.
