Programme announced for 3rd Global DIY summit

The line-up of speakers for the Global DIY Summit, set to take place in London on June 11-12, has been revealed, boasting representatives from Retail Google, leading suppliers, and international home improvement retailers.
Invited as special guests of the congress are Petri Kokko, sales director for Retail Google, Jill H. Puleri, vice president, global industry leader at IBM and Didier Mamma, vice president of Big Data Sales EMEA SAP.
The four main topics of this year's Summit will be: 1) The Store of the Future, 2) Big Data - Smart Data 3) Innovation DIY 4.0 and 4) Home Improvement around the World.
Speakers presenting trends in the home improvement sector during the two-day event include Sergio Giroldi, ceo of European home improvement retailer OBI, John Gillam, ceo of Australia and New Zealand's largest DIY, garden and hardware retail operator Bunnings, Kärcher ceo Hartmut Jenner, and Stanley Black & Decker ceo John Lundgren - all of who will take part in a panel discussion looking at 'The Store of Tomorrow' - as well as Enrique Gundermann, ceo of South American home improvement chain Sodimac, and Robert Bosch Power Tools president Henning von Boxberg.
The motto for the global event is "Retail Revolution - The Future of Home Improvement" and speakers from research companies and consultants, like Cleveland Research, Javelin Group, iGNITIATE and Euromonitor, will explain the scope of this new retailing era to delegates and how they can take advantage of the rising opportunities for home improvement companies.
The summit will bring together the whole world of home improvement in London to discuss the latest concepts and innovations in our industry. Companies from more than 40 countries are expected to attend this event.
