Rainy Day Trust launches eBay shop
Published: 20 January 2010
Got any sample products you need to get rid of? Or old unwanted stock? Or do you just feel like doing a kind deed in a naughty world? The Rainy Day Trust now has an eBay page, which has been set up to raise money for the trust.
"This is a really easy way to support the trust if you have any unwanted items which you can spare," said RDT fundraising and marketing assistant Lizzie Helps. "Anything sells on eBay, whether it's work-related or otherwise. When selling an item, you can choose what percentage of your profits you would like to donate to the trust, and it is really easy to get started."
You can either send items to the RDT office in Birmingham (no palletloads of compost please!), or you can sell them yourself, following the instructions on the RDT website. "Even if you don't have anything to sell, feel free to browse the RDT eBay page to see if there is anything on there which takes your fancy,". Said Lizzie. "You might just grab yourself a bargain!"
