The International Housewares Association (IHA) is the latest organisation to support the industry charity the Rainy Day Trust.
The IHA has been dedicated to promoting the sales and marketing of housewares since 1938. The centre of its activities is sponsorship of the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago. This year's event has just taken place, with 2,100 exhibitors and 60,000 attendees from over 120 countries.
The IHA's Derek Miller said: "We are delighted to do our bit for those in our industry who, for whatever reason, have fallen on hard times. We are looking forward to developing our relationship with this most worthwhile organisation."
