Bedford, November 2007. RB UK's new Sumo shelving range is the stylish and functional choice for shelving throughout home and office environments.
Sumo's superior weight loadings truly make this collection stand out from other shelves on the market today. The Sumo shelves can hold up 40kg per shelf making Sumo the perfect choice for displaying heavier items such as televisions, DVD players, pots, pans, books etc.
The shelves are available in two colours: black and white. The shelf board is made from honeycomb paper filling making it extremely light and strong. The shelves are 25mm thick and are available in:
· 2 depths: 300mm and 400mm,
· 4 lengths: 450mm, 600mm, 800mm, 1150mm.
There are 4 different types of brackets that complement the Sumo range: The Belt and Arc are designed for use with the 300mm deep shelves. The Belt bracket is made from extruded aluminium and can be fixed to the wall in two different ways. The Belt can also be used as a support to join two shelves together, creating a continuous run. The Arc is made from stainless steel and supports two shelves, one above the other. The Rail and Clip brackets can be used for any depth shelf.

In addition to the honeycomb boards the Sumo range also provides a metal Tube shelf that is ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms. The Tube design allows for products to be displayed either on top of the shelf or hung underneath (e.g. kitchen utensils). The Tube shelf has a weight loading of 40kg and can be utilised with the Belt support bracket.
