In a restructure of business The Garden Centre Group has moved from 12 geographical groups to six, each with a regional operations director in bid to centralise retail operations.
The reorganisation streamlines the reporting structure within the group. The new team also includes a head of integration operations and central operations manager.
Retail operations director, Colin Hughes, said: "The new structure has been designed to improve communications across our current regions and centres, share learning and create synergies between similar centres and peer groups."
Mr Hughes added the reorganisation should help drive improved commercial performance. "I am pleased to have such a strong team of experienced retailers, horticulturalists and leaders to support our retail function across our estate."
The new team includes:

TGCG recently expanded its portfolio of garden centres in the UK to 140 with the acquisition of Brooks Nursery & Garden Centre in Bude, Cornwall.
