Retailers: One week left to enter DIY Week Awards
Published: 6 November 2014
Retailers have just one week left to submit their entry to the DIY Week Awards, with the final deadline set for
Friday, November 14.
Retail businesses and store managers in the DIY and garden sector, don't miss your chance to be named best in your chosen category and take home Gold at the glittering DIY Week Awards evening on Monday, February 16.
Entry is still open to seven retailer categories: Décor Retailer of Year, Hardware Retailer of the Year, Garden Retailer of the Year, Retail Communicator of the Year, Security Retailer of the Year, Store Manager of the Year, and Tool Retailer of the Year.
DIY Week has lined up a strong panel of judges this year, including GCA chief executive and former Grosvenor Garden Centre md Iain Wylie, industry consultant and former DIY Week publisher Colin Petty, Steve Akers from the British Independent Retailers Association (BIRA), Stax Trade Centres operations director Nigel Wright, as well as Emily Duke and Miriam Devlin from Thorns DIY, a former Silver winner.
Our judging panels will meet at the end of November, and a shortlist of Silver winners will then be announced, with the Gold winners in each category revealed at the glittering awards event on Monday, February 16.
This year we have made the entry process even simpler. For more information and to download an entry form, visit

All retailer entry forms must be submitted to Fiona Garcia at
