I was in Northern France recently looking in the major DIY stores including Castorama, Leroy Merlin and Brico Depot.
Considering that they are so obviously less "sophisticated" than our stores in terms of layout and display how is it that, whenever I visit, they are always busy?
Maybe as UK stores seek to differentiate from each other, there's a case for an '80's style "Retro Look" store! Mmmm. . . should I patent this??
