Robert Dyas ceo to lead US retailer's expansion in China.
Rob Cissell's wide-ranging skill set has attracted the world's biggest retailer, Wal-Mart.
Mr Cissell is to join the American retailer and help it drive forwards expansion into the Chinese market, which it entered in 1996.
Wal-Mart operates 97 Supercenters, and has a 35% stake in a chain of hypermarkets.

Rob Cissell, 45, joined Kingfisher in 1994 and was managing director of Comet and commercial director of Woolworths before joining B&Q in 2003, initially as managing director, commercial.
Prior to joining Kingfisher he worked at Argos and Bhs.
Mr Cissell joined Robert Dyas in 2005, a year after it was bought by Change Capital, a private equity group.
